Just got my used ID.3 yesterday, and I can't connect it to the app.

It says there's already a primary user, and I need to reset the infotainment system to factory default. I tried that 50 times, but it always fails. It resets all the settings, but ends with an error.

The Users menu is also missing from the infotainment system.

The car is on firmware 2.4 (2.3 - 912).

Any ideas how fix this ?

Will it work when the car gets updated to 3.2 next month ?

ID.3 1st. Max Pro Performance (2021). Getting it next week. It's on firmware 2.3 (912). Can I update it OTA, or do I have to go to a VW dealer ?

Regarding door handles that do not meet factory specs for water ingress at door handles. I really wish VW or anyone would build an EV that had no bells and whistles - manual doors, manual windows, analog speednometer/tach, etc. Have absolutely nothing electronic except the drive train.

I've had it about a year now and love it. It's my daily driver and apart from the well known software issues, which honestly don't bother me that much, it's been faultless.
