Daily match thread: Wimbledon day 1.
The round of 128 kicks off today with second seed Djokovic and first seed Swiatek playing at 1.30pm and 1pm respectively (local time).
The second part of the order of play is here:
🇪🇸 Carlos Alcaraz [1] def. 🇨🇿 Jiri Lehecka 🎾 6-2 6-3. R2 Cinch Championship Queens
Alcaraz will face Grigor Dimitrov in the QF.
🇺🇸 Sebastian Korda def. 🇺🇸 Francis Tiafoe (4) 🎾 7-6(2) 6-3 in R2 of the Cinch Championship Queens, London.
Korda looks to be fully recovered - really clean all round technique. Tiafoe didn’t play badly, just looked a little tired. Korda will play Cam Norrie in the QFs.
