Okay, I need someone with experience in hockey fandom tell me that losing Bjorkstrand, Tanev and Gourde is not a terrible move. I've read that the draft picks we got in return are worth it. On the other hand, we'll draft some cool young players who'll need years in AHL to properly develop. Are the Kraken now destined to lounge around at the bottom of the standings without their core players?
Also... We lost 3 great ones, but kept Burakovsky... A guy who will do anything with a puck (including giving it away) before be shoots it at a goal. How does that make any sense?
So this season's done, right?
After last night's blowout against St.Louis, we're 10 points behind Calgary in the second wild card spot but actually 3 games ahead of them. And the Kraken's default is playing the last 15 minutes of the game only. Do you think heads will roll? I know it's Bylsma's first season, so maybe not...
Trying to get some momentum!
While I’m not expecting a 10 goal blow-out, I would like to see us break up the winning streak the Stars have going. At this point in the season, I just want to see good, fun hockey.
