They had 0 contingency plan for the kid fucking it up? Like no kid has ever fucked it up before? Like even if this is the final test before you're like yeah ok this one ain't it send him back to his family to do whatever with him I guess. They didn't have anybody watching? They just let the kid get the entire place destroyed. Like they already pretty much knew he wasn't gonna make it through training which like. Ok he's not cut out for it so don't leave him alone with them?

It's like when a kid accidentally shoots their sibling. Like yeah they probably knew somewhere in their head that picking up the gun and pointing it at someone was wrong but like. Kids do shit they're not supposed to all the time. It's like the one thing they're good at. Everybody knows that. Why was it not locked up in the first place?
