Hey everyone, I was just browsing Retro Achievements and I just noticed that there's a spot for Kinetica, but it doesn't currently have a set of achievements. If you're interested head over to the site, and hit the request set button! There's already technically a set of achievements for this game on PS4, so it shouldn't be hard for them to implement it.

The final unlockable character and the final character on the roster! Easily the best character in the game with the best stats in the game. Also, he's got a secret, do you know what it is? 😁 Thanks for keeping up with these posts if you have. I love this game and I think you should try it out if any of the characters I showed interest you! :) I think I'll do one final post tomorrow with the alt. characters, unfortunately these posts didn't generate a lot of conversation like I hoped, but I'm glad I got to show off a bit of one of my favorite game regardless.
Uhhh, yeah. Dunno much about this one honestly. He's the second unlockable character. I've played him once or twice and honestly I didn't have too much fun with him, his cornering is (I think) the worst in the game, you need to engage drift to get around most corners. So if you like drifting he's your guy I guess. 😅😁
The first unlockable character! Siba's got these awesome prosthetics connecting her rear and front wheel. I always thought she looked badass. She is unfortunately one of the harder characters to control, due to her having such little grip. Maybe in the next game or remake they redo the grip system.
Razzo, not much to say about him honestly. He's a well balanced character that is typically found in the middle of the pack. I love his blue color though. :)
What an exotic looking character! She's actually not a bad choice with very high cornering and grip, only drawback is her max top speed.
The bunny girl! Least, I always thought she looked like one. She's got the highest cornering in the game and some of the highest speed as well, so if you can manage your grip well into corners you're sure to win with her!
Vigor is 3rd on the roster. For those that don't know Mass is a stat that dictates how heavy a character is, this allows you to push other characters around on the track! What a menace!
Ava's the second character in the roster. What do you think? I think she looks so cool with the grilled mask and the orange highlights. Plus, her cornering is some of the best in the game.
Hey, figured that uploading some of the character art from the game would be a great idea for a series of posts, so here it is. Today we have Cera, the first character in the roster and I'd argue the easiest to pick up and play. What do you think of her design? I think she looks dope!😁
I'd love to document things like character stats, backgrounds, maybe the available lore of the various stages. What do you think? I've never made a Wiki, so I wouldn't be very good at it, but I'd be happy to give it a shot! Also, here's Ava's character select screen.😁

Here's a link to the Kinetica leaderboards. I've never seen anything quite like it! Can someone explain how he's boosting without building meter?
In my opinion, the best feature/mechanic of this game has to be the dance-boost it's just so damn cool, and deciding when to use it, weaving it in between the corners or on the straights requires such a presence of mind. I dunno, I just love it. Oh and the butts are great too :P

As a PlayStation household of course I played this on the home console! (as if there was any other way back then) But nowadays it's hard to get your hands on actual hardware, and I think my brother took his PS2 with him when he moved out. So unfortunately I find myself playing on an Emulator these days. PCSX2 has been really good to me in recent years. :) Now if only Kinetica had RetroAchievements...
Mine has to be the main theme of the game "If I Survive". Call me corny, but I get shivers whenever I hear it, it's by far my favorite but I also like "Mars Looks Like A Honey Ball". What's yours?
