Since I started using Linux, I've been using the terminal and teminal "apps" more. Not sure if thats the right word. Can now use ssh as I would on a pc, (apk add openssh for it to work on ish) and locally from my phone use ffmpeg to convert/compress videos/images if im not near my pc to turn it on. (apk add ffmpeg on ish)

a-Shell has what I use I-shell for by default, there you do no need to add it, but I-shell uses alpine linux and has access to whatevers available on that repo. While a-shell is more native? No idea how it works but it only has a few options for things to install and has the main things I use (ssh and ffmpeg) by default.

I really like just starting in a terminal even when my only goal is to ssh into my pc, not a fan of how most terminal apps only launch a terminal after you've connected to your server/pc.

Hi! Today I found this app to make Timelapses that is also reduced from €19.99 to €1.99 in its IAP for a once time payment. It is capable of simultaneously using all the iPhone's cameras and has extensive configuration and a very neat GUI.

Many more Apps will suffer the same fate. Capitalism is good for progress and innovation but unrestrained greed is bad for everyone.

A healthy, delicate balance between capitalism, socialism, government oversight and user freedom sustains a healthy sustainable growth, a commentary that extends to the real world, beyond Apps and the internet.

Apollo shut down on June 30, 2023 due to Reddit making drastic and sudden increases to API pricing for developers.

I loved building Apollo for the last 9 years, and it has been the journey and dream of a lifetime. I’m sad that journey has ended, but I thank you so much for the support over the years, and I feel truly fortunate so many people were able to enjoy Apollo.
