This was were my journey with Devin started - what was your first song?

Before the show even began, the VIP Meet & Greet set an incredible tone for the evening. We were gathered for approximately 45 minutes, which felt like a genuine conversation rather than a rushed meet-up. Devin was remarkably warm and entertaining—he didn't just pose for photos, but engaged with us and it felt like a talk amongst friends.

What stood out most was how open he was about his personal life and career journey. He answered questions freely and made sure everyone had the chance to take a photo with him and speak briefly one-on-one. In an age of automated experiences, this human connection felt rare and special.

The show itself was a seated concert, lasting roughly 2 hours with a 20-minute intermission. This setup allowed for a more contemplative experience—you really absorbed every moment without the chaos of a standing crowd.

Devin framed the entire performance around his career evolution, from the wild energy of Punky Brüster to the fully features orchestra experience of The Moth. True to his promise, he delivered a comprehensive overview of his work that serves as both a love letter to longtime fans and an accessible entry point for newcomers.

He played many well-known tracks on his guitar, sometimes teasing familiar riffs before diving into full arrangements. What truly made my night:

"From the Heart" was performed— one of my personal favourite songs, which I'd never had the privilege to hear live until this concert!
