I want to take a moment to explain the move and apologize for any disruption it may have caused — both to our community members and to the Lemmy.World mods and members.

Recently, I was contacted by one of the admins at literature.cafe ([email protected]).

They explained that their instance is shifting to focus solely on literature and literature-adjacent communities.

Since this community is about the DC Cinematic Universe, they kindly asked me to migrate it to a more appropriate instance.

That’s why we’ve relocated here. I tried to bring over the content as smoothly as possible, but given the number of posts (around 36 in total) and the 10 posts-per-hour rule, I realize this may have looked like spam or caused a sudden flood in feeds.

I rarely use cross-posting, so this was a bit of a learning curve — and I deeply apologize if it disturbed anyone.

🙏 To the Lemmy.World team: please don’t ban or remove this community. This was a one-time transition, and going forward, posting will return to a normal, steady pace.

Everything about the character feels so lived in and authentic.

He's a prick in the most entertaining way.

Truly wish we had 6 movies about him.

But now that 'Lanterns' is getting very positive great reviews, suddenly James Gunn isn't involved ?

Double standards lol.

I'm Not defending James Gunn for 'Supergirl' movie failure and poor reception, he is the DC Studios head, of course he would be blamed

But now that 'Lanterns' is getting very positive great reviews, suddenly James Gunn has nothing to do with it?

I would freak out if both Lanterns and Clayface got bad reviews, but right now I don't doubt.

Some saying its around 90 mins.

The movie version actually looks like an alien, while the show version just looks like an old man with a deep tan.
