I’m posting this here due to the inactivity in this community, I moderate /c/[email protected] which can be chalked up to a Lemmy equivalent of /r/CanadaGuns, I mostly bounce CCFR content over to Lemmy so PAL/RPAL holders can stay up to date without having to use proprietary software like Instagram, Discord, Twitter.

I’m hoping more people engage in /c/[email protected] and voice their opinions on Canada’s stance on our sport & hobby!

I submitted my RPAL renewal back in September using the online system but still nothing.

I did get a letter stating if I didn’t renew my license I’d be in violation of everything though…. New gun control measures? Just don’t process license renewals in a timely fashion?

Took a chance on a $260 Mosin that had a decent amount of surface rust. Took the rust off with some steel wool to reveal this 100 yo beauty.
