Bethesda Softworks Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition Is Still Broken — Missing Content, Loops, and Mod Breakage
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition is genuinely broken.
The update has caused widespread issues across the community — broken mods, corrupted saves, missing DLC, and even launch failures. Many players have had to downgrade the game just to make it playable again.
Even ignoring mods, the Anniversary Edition content itself often doesn’t work. For many players, Creation Club items fail to download or initialize, and the game gets stuck in loops or blank screens when trying to load them.
Bethesda has acknowledged the problems and says they are “investigating issues” and preparing more patches, but the game remains unstable for a large portion of the player base.
At this point, it would be nice just to access the free Creation Club content we paid for — and for modders to be able to fix the game again without Bethesda breaking everything in the process.
