SD card only showing fraction of used space
Hello all
So I have a weird situation, where I accidentally removed an SD card before unmounting it properly and it got corrupted.
I then did a fsck which filled the card with a lot of fsck-files, but got the card working but only in a read-state.
I then used KDE's partitionmanager to repair the partition. Which made me able to write to the card again.
I then deleted all the fsck-files - I don't know if that was smart, but some googling told me it would be safe. Which is was, sort off.
Because now my SD card work. Files stay on the card - I use it in a China retro handheld - and the roms play just fine.
The weird thing is that after deleting all of the fsck-files, the card only show up as having used ~3GB, while all the roms take up ~60GB.
Does anyone know why that is? And possibly how to fix it? It is not a big deal, I just can't find an answer to why it happens or any solution. But any input would be very much appreciated.
