Dragon Detective: A Friend from the Shadows

This popped up through browsing as a general mystery/AceAttorney-inspired indie game of a unique aesthetic. A free demo is available, and the whole game is $10 for 4 cases.

The game follows something like the Edgeworth Investigations games' approach, wherein your titular dragon detective needs to form deductions based off the clues he's discovered. Though the crime scenes aren't expansive, your hero is able to use all 6 senses in a keen way to gather many facts off a single item.

Thought I'd share this one, since it appears to have far more of a budget for the game itself than for marketing/discoverability.

Get overlanged!

Get overlanged!

Having some fun with the video for #ObjectionOverruledFunk. To prevent changing background way too much, I decided to make characters get closer - and there is just the way to make it faithful to the videogame, by placing them on the same location backdrop. As a result, both Edgeworth and his opponents can have richer interactions with each other without warping locations a lot. Luckily, motion sickness now can be avoided.

Occult Crime Police Case 2: Medium at Large

Occult Crime Police is an indie-made, Ace Attorney-inspired mystery game about a local town sheriff investigating crazy occurrences in her small, four-figure population hometown of Boomtown, USA.

The game is CRAZY-detailed with its animations, humor, tons of "Present Evidence" conversations, and it's available for FREE (or whatever donation price you'd like to offer). You don't go to any courtrooms, but it's the same idea, similar to the Edgeworth games; winning arguments to accuse the murder through contradictions and collected evidence.

The first case has been out for a while, but recently they've premiered case 2: Medium At Large.

And yes, there is at least one stepladder joke.
