Seconded. Being able to block some communities I'd rather not see would make browsing all a lot more comfortable.

Not yet, no.
Personally, I'm using a combination of the app and being logged into my instance with a web browser to get what I want done (the app for browsing, upvoting and replying, and the browser for more 'back-end' stuff like creating/editing communities, and blocking instances and communities)

I’m doing the same. The app is great for browsing, and I don’t need to do the backend enough to get annoyed at the switching.

I’ve also found the search in https://lemmyverse.net to be a lot more forgiving/useful than the one on wefwef for now.

Came here looking for this. I loved browsing /r/all and using the block feature of Apollo to curate my personal list of things I want to see (or more often, things I don’t mind seeing more of). Being able to get that process started here would greatly improve my enjoyment of this platform.

Came here to ask this, too. Desperately needed. My feed is full of furries and incel nonsense (and, at the moment, beans, but beans are cool).
