Whoa, this is pretty huge for free-to-play games. These regulations seem like they target multiple aspects of the gacha.

I didn't see a mention of the timeline for compliance or enforcement, but even if the timeline is long, I doubt mihoyo wants to maintain separate forks of their games for China and for everyone else. I guess we'll see how it plays out.

Hoyo gets the majority of its revenue from China. I am guessing they're big enough that their survival won't be in doubt, but by how much will their revenue drop?
