This one might be tough to make work since it's a webm file rather than a real gif file. Lemmy and the various apps don't do a great job handling video file formats.

How do I get it to show the gif in the body? Sorry, I'm new at this, but I thought it was pretty funny.

I uploaded a gif but it got converted to webm. Are gifs allowed? Or maybe it's the instance I'm on?
That's weird behavior. Gifs should be okay as far as I know.
Thanks. It also reformatted (or at least renamed) the gif to webm. Is gif not an allowed format or something?
