"It's hard to see anything through the constant shelling of all of these Gazan children," stated IDF Maj.-Gen Yaakov Amidror. "I mean sure, we took some hostages, but it was cloudy outside, you can never be sure if that's a gun they are holding, or a soccer ball, or the body of their childhood friend, so we just shoot first and...ah, yeah, we don't really ask questions later...better to just shoot."

The interview with Maj.-Gen Amidror ended immediately after a precision airstrike accidentally took out our investigating reporter performing the interview. The reporter that reported on the reporters death has also been accidentally caught by a precision artillery strike as he was submitting the story.

When Amidror was asked to comment on these unfortunate circumstances, IDF Public Affairs instead reached out and simply stated, "Accidents happen."
