Homekit Secure Video
Does anyone else have an issue with HSV ending the recording before the motion that triggered the recording has left the frame? All four of our cameras do this and it drives us crazy.
Would love to here if we’re alone and if anyone else has a fix…?

What kind of motion are you referring to?
Any motion that triggers a camera to start recording.
As and example if someone were to walk across the field of view of the camera, all that gets recorded is from a half second before they enter the frame through maybe 1/3 of the field of view. Then the recording ends.
Do you have any activity zones set?
Nope…none.
Hmm, very strange
Yeah. It’s been frustrating. It worked fine for the first couple weeks, but it’s been like this ever since.
Maybe try restarting your home hubs
I have done that as well but hasn’t helped.
Have ya tried resetting one to see if that fixes anything?
Unfortunately I’m traveling and won’t be able to directly access them for a couple months.
I do have a non-technical friend going by on occasion and I have had them power cycle them but didn’t help. I have not been able to try removing and re-adding them to the home yet.
