Isn't a 34 year old probably exactly the kind of person that would be listening to Limp Bizkit, given they'd probably been introduced to them as a child?

This is fine, since I believe they're never out of style, because their style is kinda fresh.

Where you don't want to wake up. Everything is fucked. Everybody sucks.

Ok yeah this fits the bill for today

15

I sure do miss when a sea of red hats meant you were probably at a limp bizkit concert and not a klan rally.

Right hand drive. So this is is Britain, Australia (should be upside down), new Zealand but that doesn't exist.

India but there are no other vehicles on the road, Japan but the car is too big

9

Indonesia but there is no child in the backseat without a seatbelt and smoking three cigarettes at the same time.

7

I love how limp bizkit actually made a huge comeback only because we're all around the same age and feeling nostalgic

20

limp bizkit is great until fred starts singing

the first 10 seconds of counterfeit is one of the best things limp bizkit did

basically limp bizkit is great for wes borland only

And Black Light Burns shows just how much Wes carried LB.

This time I'ma let it all come out

This time I'ma stand up and shout

It's my way

My way or the highway

Yeah this is my litmus test I put Limp Bizkit, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nickelback or Cold Play on, even though I don’t really like that shit, and see if they are open minded about music or start gate keeping music which lots of basic bitches who like basic shit like Avenged Sevenfold seem to do with those bands.

I'm usually neutral towards the music I don't like because well it's subjective. However I'm currently an active Nickelback hater as a response to this new wave that claims Nickelback hate was just a meme and undeserved. I don't have an issue with people enjoying unoriginal or uninspired music, I do it all the time. But praising something that is not there annoys me. insert old man yells at cloud meme

7

Bad or good I'm fairly neutral on the argument (really depends on the song for me), but you can't deny it's iconic early 2000's music

Similar issue as Limp Bizkit IMO, good music but the vocals can't really keep up.

1

Don't confuse your memory of masses incapable of singing along to Under the Bridge with the actual song.

I don't get this, yes the people nearing 40 would be the ones listening to limp Bizkit, not some teenager.

Reminds me of this time I wanted to buy a grungy Nirvana sweater, and my brother goes "Nirvana, what are your a teen?" Nirvana was founded in 1987.

Vaguely related: As a flappy-headed Canadian child, there was some web 1.5 proto-social media site for kids that advertised on tv. I distinctly remember one of the characters saying the phrase "Do you like Limp Cookie?" in it.

I hope this comment keeps the memory of a company obscuring a band's name referring to a cookie a bunch of dudes jacked off onto, while retaining the exact same connotation, on children's television alive. That is all.

[Bonus points if anyone remembers wtf that website was]

Oh, I forgot about Significant Other.

Agree that their newer albums were quite shit. Results May Vary and Gold Cobra were absolute trash, but Still Sucks had some good tracks.

Significant other had some good tracks for sure, CSF had like one iirc, but beyond that I stopped listening a long time ago

You reached the end
