jergy replylemmy.whynotdrs.org1Hide 1 replyit looks that kbin link is referencing the community that is hosted on this lemmy instance. kbin and Lemmy are different fediverse software implementations. the nature of the fediverse is such that different pieces of software can communicate with each other using common protocols. The most prominent of these protocols is ActivityPub. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/68/A_view_into_the_Fediverse.png/800px-A_view_into_the_Fediverse.png on kbin it looks like they call "subreddits" magazines, and the links use /m/ on Lemmy they are called communities, and the links use /c/ so in the case of that link, it is showing federated posts to users on that kbin instance that originate from this Lemmy instance.6
