I remember the purple ketchup vividly. Such a weird disconnect in my head between the color and the flavor.

I mean it tasted like Heinz ketchup, but slightly off. The only way I can explain it is how ketchups from different fast food restaurants all taste slightly different. The problem though was that you’re getting ketchup flavor from purple (or green, blue, orange, teal) goop.

Also Heinz marketed it to kids, but moms are the ones who grocery shop, and they didn’t want to buy their kids more expensive candy-looking ketchup, so the product failed.

I seem to remember them just tasting like ketchup. Like, just the color was different.

The purple one made me stop eating ketchup for like 5 years. The color and taste broke my brain

I remember when this came out I wanted to try it so bad but my parents said it would make the food look gross and refused to buy it lol

Colored ketchup was actually awesome.

Today's fortnite generate doesn't even know! We used to have full on retail toys in the happy meals.
