You can use an automation to toggle rotation lock for photo, video and streaming apps
Just wanted to remind the Lemmy community that you can enable and disable portrait mode on a per app basis so you don’t need to manually do it and open the control center each time.

smart use case, I'll add the per app bases too.
I similarly set this up for night and morning so if I pick it up at night from in bed, rotation lock is already on. then during the day it is unlocked. saves me two adjustments per day, which just becomes natural.
