How to cycle slower and love it
I need this as a reminder every now and again. Even on my cargo I feel like I have to go fast as a defense mechanism for my suburban town.

I don't know, I feel the need to cycle faster than all the electric scooters and bikes around me, it's a matter of stupid pride I guess.
That 100% also happens to me when I have my cycling kit on. I need to remember to slow it down every once in a while.
There’s a lot to be said with merging as fast or faster than traffics.
When you can reduce the number of obstacles you have to track it’s easier to start safe
I ride with lots of annoying lights, high vis, distinctive cowboy helmet, take the lane, always my rear view glasses mirror.
I ride aggressive and assertive in traffic/busy towns and chill waaaay back off road and on paths.
Except of course when I don’t….
Dude same, I got my hi-viz vest and gloves. The light up harness has been a lifesaver! I have been playing around with the idea of getting a outfit of fully retro reflective clothing.
