For me it does not work yet. It stopped crashing, but now when I open the app and try to log in, the logging in seems to stop halfway. No fail or success, it just stops. After that, I do see the list of communities I subscribed to, but no content. When I refresh it says "connection error".

Maybe try clearing cache or even data.
Nope. Unfortunately doesn’t change anything.
