Seriously, my state government is trying to give the pigs more training for us daring to legalize pot, and this is basically always what police training is. It’s never “this is called a citizen, your job is to protect them even when they commit crimes because you aren’t fucking judge dredd. Here are their rights, if you violate these you become the dangerous criminal. When we interact with a dangerous criminal we begin by using our words to try to create peace. Also you don’t lie to people to get them to confess because that’s not how you find the truth or build trust”
