It might feel busy for some but that's because you see it for the first time.
When it's on your phone, you see it like 50 times a day you realize that you got so much information at a glance.

YouTube Vanced got replaced by Revanced BTW, different team and not just an app you just download, you have to patch YouTube yourself, (similar to xmanager) but that isn't not too hard. The YouTube Revanced's Official discord can be found here
I use Libreube but I can understand that people would rather use a stock YouTube patch. You can't like or comment on anything that doesn't require a YouTube account for example and I get why that'd be a deal-breaker for some.
I tried Newpipe but I honestly didnt get on with it, I'm much too used to the stock UI of YouTube, I also like having an account that let's me interact with others (commenting, liking etc). Plus Revanced has native Sponcerblock and RYD support. At the end of the day its to each of their own, but I much prefer it over the others.
What do you mean ads lol, there are no ads. You probably did something wrong or got it from the wrong source. I'm not sure there's any credible Vanced source right now, revanced is probably your best bet
I had the 925, it was reall nice, the screen aspect ratio was great, the phone felt premium, camera was good. It got a bit sluggish towards the end, but Android phones at the time did as well. I wasn't a fan of WP10 though, so if they released a new WP today who knows what kind of experience it would actually have, probably something in-between WP10 and Android.
Windows Phone had a gorgeous UI, especially on OLED devices. Your colours are a little off and the gaps could be a bit bigger, but it still looks quite nice. I don't know how much of this is tweakable though. Did you make this yourself? Or which launcher are you using?
It was pretty awesome man. Especially the native apps and the consistency in UI between apps. Android only NOW has introduced something similar with material you. It was ahead of it's time
I can't believe nobody in this thread mentioned launcher10 yet. I have to admit I haven't tried square yet, but launcher10 scratches my WP user experience itch for sure.
I loved my windows phone, everything was neatly organized and insane good muscle memory, I don't know if it is my nostalgia or if it genuinely is a good as I remember
I wish there actually was an Android launcher with tile based live apps though. I thought it was neat and want to try it, but even Microsoft didn't do it again for their Arrow Launcher.
Microsoft rarely makes good decisions. Though wp had a great ui ahead of it's time, it was super restricted, and companies had to pay for using windows on their phones. Android although was way more unpolished, it was free and open source. And Microsoft has continued to make terrible decisions ever since

My Samsung Omnia 7 was friggin awesome. Metro was kicking iOS and Androids butt.

They have some custom tiles that do like calender, photo slider, clock. Folders also have animations

I still miss my 920 and 950xl. If they made a modern WP again, I'd switch back in a heartbeat.

You can log in to ReVanced.
I prefer the gestures and UI of the stock YouTube app, so having a patched app is the best of both worlds.

That's.... The appeal lol. You can subscribe and stuff but your data remains with you. But i get why that turns many people off

There was an adblocker in videos yes, but on homescreen there were ads in between scrolling. And it had other issues like video infinite buffering etc
I think that issue is fixed now

Oh. I've never seen any ads while scrolling. The buffering does happen to me sometimes though, and it is annoying.

It was ahead in many ways. Iirc, windows was the first phone OS to include in built swipe typing.
