yea i wanted to keep r/megaten closed until they forcibly wrested it from us and installed their own shit powermods and watch and laugh as they turned the place into a worse state than we ever thought possible
As much as I'd love to see that, I feel like it'll just stay like it is. Same for other minor subs, since most of the quality is just the posts and what people decide to upvote, and most people just don't care (unless they start posting demon r34 to protest, but they'll probably quit after like 2 days like most of the blackout protesters)
I guess we'll see how many posters quit once 3rd party apps get the axe, I used the official app myself for a while so it might be a minority though.

cant believe a demo had to give a tutorial on how to hold a button 5 times to open/kick a door (awful btw) and then also give 2 more tutorials on the slowest qtes in any game.
Can't believe a demo has motion blur that looks like shit with no option to disable it. Also it's really mature, so environments must be either gray or brown.
my cope is there will be an option in the full game

just saw them talking about it. Seems like there will be something performance but motion blur fix got specifically called out to not be in the day 1 patch but others...
that motion blur was shit but c'mon. ffxvi isn't a grey-brown game. sure most of those areas were dimly lit swamps or castlegrounds, but we've seen plenty of environments already to know that's not how it is across the board
game's definitely a bit (a lot) too tailored towards people who don't know how controllers work, but at least with regard to those qtes - red means evade and blue means attack. knowing that you can press them much more immediately and it feels nice when the scene stays seamless.
i dont see how that is possible, unless theyve found a way to be longer than infinity
