Lee Pace, who plays Brother Day, is exceptional in this show. Been a fan of his since he was a piemaker

He's exceptional in almost everything he's in, especially Halt and Catch Fire which seems a bit underappreciated. He really carried that one at times.

Holy shit…glass shattered. I fucking loved Pushing Daisies and I never even made that connection with how mean he is in Foundation comparatively.

I was about halfway through season 2 before I realized it was the same guy. He's got really amazing range

Yeah, I love the genetic dynasty to the point point it’s my favourite part of the show. I don’t like the foundation that much though, it deviated too much from the books not always with the best result: while I see the logic of the S2 crisis, the ending was disappointing and imo didn’t make that much sense and was the worst option possible

I’m curious though how they will introduce the mule and what will it mean for the genetic dynasty and the foundation ngl

The show was/is great, but I hate when shows jump between periods in time without making it clear. Just throw the date down at the bottom of the show, especially when half the characters don't show signs of aging over that long for various reasons and technology is stagnant

All that said, the TV show is doing an amazing job of filling in Asimov's writing defincies. His character work was always shit, but I'm invested in the people from the show.

They do say the time jumps... it shows like 'x years later' on screen multiple times.

Do they always?

I think when they kept jumping between that one woman and her daughter it got real blurry on what time it was.

But I also have a bad habit of listening to TV more than watching it so it's entirely possible I was just missing them.

All in all its a good show with great visuals and extremely entertaining

Exciting!

I’ve been reading through Asimov’s books related to this universe, and have been loving it.

Cinematography in Foundation is very good and scenes are well lit. I found Silo just a bit bland visually but it might have been the point.

6

They are both good but I preferred Silo, looking forward to season 2

If you're having trouble watching dark shows/movies -- might be time to jump to OLED. Silo looked fantastic.

Interesting. I never had a problem watching that show. Do you have an OLED, LED, or LCD TV?

You reached the end
