[Joe Saward] It will soon be announced that Madrid has won the deal to host the Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 onwards.
" (...) The race will take place on a semi-permanent track around the IFEMA convention centre, close to Barajas Airport. The deal will be for 10 years."

Not another street circuit
I'm tried of street circuits, bros.
Meh track gets replaced by meh-er track
Right after we finally fixed the track to not be that much of a snoozefest, we lose it for another damn street curcuit.
Interesting. So what gets dropped to make room for it on the calendar?
Probably Barcelona, their contract runs out in 2026. There's a possibility for them to run at the same time tho, like with Valencia.
