Redoing the teak in the cockpit has definitely been the worst boat-job so far.
So many hours bent over plucking out the old caulk, and applying the new stuff was very messy.

Did you consider getting rid of it?
I would, but time is a luxury I don't have at the moment. At least my deck is teak-free, so it's just the cockpit.
I think that's why I don't really like wood on the outside of boats. Just too much work to maintain.
I agree. It does look beautiful though when it is maintained!
