Communist party members have been barred from immigrating to the US since 1952. It's the same McCarthyism it never went away.

I agree it's a lot of talk when in comes from Trump, but then on the other hand it does seem like we're not too many steps away from removing transgender people from the country. And as a trans person that freaks me the fuck out.
I don't blame you. I'm straight but I worry for the safety of my LGBTQ+ friends and family. The current and ongoing success of reactionary forces undoing decades of small victories is horrifying.

The governor of South Carolina was taped saying that he "can't wait until the Democratic party is small enough that they can be hunted with dogs", and by Democrats you have to understand that he means any sort of perceived left winger.

Since 2016-17 he promoted a law stating that communists from another countries cannot enter the USA, risking being arrested/deported (and whatnot).
That's my main reason for not wanting to visit the US, despite everyone on my family wanting to go there on a trip to Disney.
I personally don't care that if I can't get into the USA, I've never wanted to visit. What am I gonna see? Roads? Walmarts?
There are so many countries with beautiful cities and historic landmarks to visit, I would rather go there.
