Yeah, I haven't seen that issue on wefwef.
Edit: I take that back, this just occurred for me on the desktop browser. It my be a lemmy thing.

Are you logged in to several accounts? I'm not using Thunder but Liftoff, and they have a function to show ALL from every instance you have an account with, which leads to duplicates. Could be similar there.
I'm seeing some dupes, but I think they're from people posting the same thing more than once. I don't think Lemmy stops you from doing that.
I’ve had a similar problem with Liftoff, but not with Memmy and wefwef.
I think, it is a general bug. Have it as well sometimes - though, everything still in development.
Expect some bugs, glitch and issues.
