Haven't yet deleted my 11y.o r*ddit account. I know there's content associated with it that I can't delete. Raised a GDPR "right to erasure" request that I am fully prepared to go to court to see enforced.
If u/Spez continues to make shitty decisions with the platform, but with respect to data privacy laws, he's going to be put over a barrel by the ICO, and he can kiss the idea of ever taking Reddit public goodbye.

Jerboa has been alright for me so far
I'm using Liftoff for now. The interface is similar to Bacon Reader and you can use it with right hand only. I'm left handed, if you know what I mean.
Yup, same.. I loved Bacon Reader. We had 10 great years together. It's going to be tough getting over that loss. I feel your pain!
I guess I should just delete Baconreader now instead of habitually opening it huh. Just plop Jerboa in its place. RIP Baconreader.
I just installed it after trying out Jerboa and Connect. They're both good but oof... Liftoff is nice.
