[Pre-release] v0.2.1-alpha.1+9
Here's the first pre-release version of Thunder for the upcoming v0.2.1+9 release!
As always, this is a pre-release version so it is expected that there may be crashes or major bugs introduced.
More details about the pre-release version, changelog, and things to test are outlined in the pre-release notes!

Working great for me, can see the image download button and long press on post send to work fine
Af first glance (like 5 minutes using it) it's really smooth in regards of scroll animation.
This version now allows you to download the images (as far as I used the previous version, couldn't download any image, or at least didn't find the option to do it). A future option could be share images directly to contacts..
Top bar did not hide when scrolling down, could be an option, as well as the bottom bar ..
For everything else, I really love the feeling and smoothness of the app.. Not laggy at all!
Edit: I really like the long press menu to share and go to community or user! Maybe share images could go there as well! Another thing is I could find the edit comment button..
All the settings in post style dont update the toggle display and number dropdown thing display until you close and reopen the setting page.

Whenever you change a setting in the post style section for example enabling or disable rounded corners or setting post title size to a certain number, the change does take place but the value like the post title size changed from 16 to 23 still shows 16 in the dropdown, or the rounded corners toggle being switched from off to on shows it as off even when the rounded corners have been applied.
edit: you also cannot revert the change without closing and reopening the post styles page and then changing it.
my bad its been fixed in v0.10.3. the problem was occurring in v0.10.1

One main thing to test for is for performance issues - try to scroll through posts and see if you notice any lag!
Performance is good. It looks like there's an issue with upvoting sub comments. When I upvote a sub comment it instead upvotes the parent comment. I can keep upvoting and the counter for the parent comment keeps ticking up.

Working well as well mostly. Occasionally having posts not load with a timeout issue, but could be because of lemmy.world? I really like the long press options, it's very handy.
That’s mostly just the instance being slow, I’m not sure if there’s anything I do really do to fix that 😅
Yeah, I thought it was a lemmy.world issue. Since ruud updated the server it's working fine.
Edit: I logged out and reset the cache since the server update and I'm having more issues with network. I noticed your note on the latest nightly though. Thanks for all your work.
Post refresh only appears to work when the post and/or post with comments is long enough to scroll down. Otherwise pull to refresh in a post appears not to work.
Edit: also, no haptics on post refresh
Fixed the haptic feedback issue! The pull to refresh not working when the post isnt long enough will be a bit more tricky to figure out
