I'm pretty sure the band had an actual name, I've suppressed the hundreds of hours of bullshit skits and bad cover songs I had to listen to when I worked there so I can't remember what they were called but I remember all their names .

I remember the dining room at the location I visited as a kid not looking like a public school room with a stage on one side. Actually, I think the characters were all completely (shitty) animatronics that popped out of different boxes/columns set up on one wall. And the room had a theatre look to it, with a dark carpet and walls.
