Per the article, the police are acting within established law in Alabama. If you're wondering, yes the law is totally fucked up and yes it was written by the Republican state legislature.

Per this ruling, literally any police documentation can be concealed via the "Open Records Act." 911 calls, body cams, any documentation you can think of that might hold police accountable.

They're practically begging for it by refusing to release the bodycam footage.

Everyone always quotes, "Some of those who work forces" but they always forget the equally infuriating, "those who died are justified" from the same song.

They need to be out on the streets in cuffs. With no shoes on.
