One of my managers at a former Fortune 50 company I worked for was sent to Mumbai. She said she got in a cab and rode through some of the worst areas of the city, and demanded to go back to the airport. She flew back home immediately. She wouldn't even stay in the hotel. She said it was the worst experience of her life.
