@altz3r0 Love them. My favorite band since a couple of years, partly due to a heartbreaking history I share with their music, but yeah 💔

Basically I can't listen to A Hero's Death without bursting into tears.

Check out The Pogues I'd you haven't already. Rum Sadomy and the Lash, and If I should fall with grace from god are 2 of my fav albums.

Fontaines are dope. I saw them open for Idles at a basement venue in Washington DC years ago, I assumed they were a local band because they had DC in the name, but once I heard their accents I figured that wasn't the case lol.

My brain has been churning through a Father John Misty's catalogue. Currently stuck on "Kiss Me (I Loved You)" but this last week it's been various tracks from Fear Fun and I Love You, Honeybear.

What Ever Happened? by The Strokes. Such an epic opener.

I wanna be forgotten / And I don't wanna be reminded / You say, "Please don't make this harder" / No, I won't yet

I've been sleeping on Room on Fire for far too long, it is chock full of bangers.

Gotta admit I've also been sleeping on Room on Fire, been too preoccupied with Is This It and The New Abnormal.

Exactly the same here! I love both of those records and pretty much wrote off a majority of their discography in-between for no real reason other then laziness I guess? Lol.

The common opinion seems to be that Is This It is full of bangers from front to back, while most of their other records contain a couple of good songs apiece.

But it seems to me that those couple of good songs are really worth the hassle.

Long years on the internet have conditioned me to dig deep for a song that is off the beaten path and novel, just so everybody knows how great my taste in music is, but at the moment I have Exile by Taylor Swift feat Bon Iver on repeat repeat repeat.

The last part is basically them 'singing past each other' in much the same way couples talk past each other when they are trying to argue. It's so well done.

i actually saw them in concert this last november! pretty great show and band, though i’ve mostly only listened to true power

Most recently “I don’t belong to me” by the Lemon Twigs. Different songs from “Everything Harmony” have alternated in my head for weeks now…

That Robot Prince of Auchtertool guy is pretty cool, I hope the recently-released extra wizard and Knife of Evil don't have any drastic effects on his surely long and successful career

I know this is for serious music and Nick lutsko is more of a joke musician but I cant get this song out of my head. I find myself singing it to myself constantly.

I just love the stupid joke of a person being afraid of skeletons as in the spooky monster and being spooked by their own x-ray. I also love the verse of the exasperated doctor just trying to power through this and explain bones to his patient.

2

I hate that I wantched that and I also hate that DOCTOR DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT is now going to be seated into my cortex for a few days.

You monster.

Red Fang's cover of Over the Edge by the Wipers. I'm relearning how to play the guitar after 20 years, and this song is an itch I've been scratching.

2

At the moment my mind is switching between repeating fragments of "Where is my mind?" by Pixies and "By-Tor and the Snow Dog" by Rush of all things..
