No mention on millennials pausing before speaking because they are doing a quick internal check that they know what they are going to say? Just a quick shout out to boomer behaviors and then saying "maybe millennials too?"
God helps us, how could anyone dare to think before speaking. What kind of weirdo does that?
I used to hit record on my webcam and if I started playing my guitar immediately it'd lose the first like 3 seconds. I'll keep pausing, I don't trust this stuff, and I'll be damned if I'm going through my whole performance just to find out it didn't capture the beginning lol.
How is this unique to millennials? Maybe it's so ingrained in my psyche that I can't imagine doing anything else, but I honestly struggle to see how else you would do video. Like you'd just jump into whatever you were recording like some sort of barbarian? You wait to make sure it's recording and give yourself a second to mentally "... and go-". This just seems like a universal thing, how is anybody else doing it?
