Welcome, Dads!
Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this community will grow to the extent of Daddit, but I just wanted to give an alternative to those who wish to separate themselves from Reddit. I really enjoyed reading through stories on Daddit and I hope this place fosters the same loving environment. Please feel free to let me know how we could improve this community.

I just joined Lemmy to give it a try. One of the first things I did was start searching for a Daddit-like community. Thanks for getting it started here!
Thank you for commenting! Didn't want to call it "Daddit" considering it was a play on "Reddit". So I decided to stick with "Dad World" since it was part of lemmy.world. Not the greatest name, but hopefully that doesn't affect the participation in the community.
Here's to hoping it gains some traction! 🍻
