I just discovered the Rob Words YouTube channel recently and this is an excellent video of his.
I especially liked his breakdown of the history of the term eggcorn and how it differs from similar linguistic phenomena.
Yeah, I loved the video! I actually watched that first before looking it up myself. People don’t seem to click on videos in this sub, but I still wanted to share the info and added the video if people were still interested in more.
