Not surprised by this. Worried that Masai and Bobby will try to retain him at a higher AAV rather than sign and trade him. We need to rebuild.

FVV was such a loveable underdog with Kyle Lowry around. Since his departure it just hasn't been the same. I wish him the best, but looking forward to a new direction.

Good luck to the team that signs him. He's good, but he needs to be the 3rd or 4th best player on a team with championship aspirations

Teams with cap space that can sign him are the Rockets and Magic. The rumours of him going to the Sixers require more cap maneuvering (i.e. a S+T). I don't know how much he actually cares about winning, rather he wants his bag (and I say this as a Raptors fan).

Maybe the best situation for him is Orlando. They could be a play-in team as soon as next year, and they have lots of cheap talent on the roster so they can pay FVV the money he wants.

Rockets: we want James Harden Rafael Stone: we have James Harden at home

James Harden at home: FVV

FVV wants 30MM. If you're choosing between FVV @ 30MM or Harden @ 40MM, it's a real discussion. That's almost a full MLE player.

Are the rockets really one James harden away from competing? Had to be Harden negotiating tactic. Only way I see FVV at either of those teams is if he just wants a bag like you said
