"Change in climatic conditions", don't think I've seen that message before..

To phrase the message in that particular way had to be intentional, right? We'll have to get used to that in the coming seasons, it was only a matter of time.

To be quite honest, I can't shake the increasing feeling that formula1 and motorsport in general are just not sustainable anymore and I say that as a motorsport fan of over 30 years. Been to the nordschleife more times than I can count, set a lap time on it, loved every second of it and I still absolutely love motorsport.

I'll get a bit of severance pay next year and I'm seriously tempted to at least participate one year in amateur motorsports, but I can not justify it I think....... Every little bit counts they say......

Anyway, sorry for the rant, but it's been in my head for a long time now.

I agree with you. While I enjoy all forms of karting, I only partake in the electric ones now. Total blast. But indoors and smaller circuits. Still stupid fun.

I like it, safety cars as backdrop works!

Edit: And Max and Charles leaning on a wing, chatting, is just icing on the cake.

It felt more, Idk, intimate? Maybe cozy. Like the drivers weren't as "staged" as they usually are since they had to do in close quarters, last minute.

3

That was what Yuki implied, but I never saw any evidence of it, not to say it didn't happen

3

Unfortunate to see Ricciardo go out in Q1 after last week's excellent performance.

5

I like how Ferrari gives Charles an umbrella for that 30 ft walk and Red Bull makes the 3 in a row reigning world champion run lol

They're sweeping the track, apparently a bit too much debris for comfort.

4

Thanks. Make sense as there were a couple of incidents during FP1 with debris on track.

Good job AM. P3 (STR) and P4 (ALO).

Bad day for AT. Out in Q1, yikes.

And P9 for Perez isn't great for him.

Perez got caught in the yellow flag when Piastri spun. I guess when it rains, it pours, literally

I just wonder, why RB sends out Max so early and Perez so late... Yellow flags can happen at any time and with the rain approaching, why not send out both at the very front?

Yea Checo was 1:56 behind Max. Maybe they were hoping the track would be a little more rubbered in or something. He was 4/10 off Max at the end of S2, but I don’t know how much he’s already backed out by then. Really disappointed he lost the chance, he was looking good today.

Red Bull's dominance over, AT the new #1 RB team. You read it here first! /s
