Yes! If you mean moderation from users not on the lemmy.world instance. Do you wish to become a mod?
What will happen if the community is left without active mods? I don't have the time to volunteer but I hope it won't get deleted.
Nothing at the moment. We are still figuring out how to deal with unmoderated communities, as this may become a larger problem in the future. Hope that answered your question!
