Yeah, but mosquitoes have a much bigger head start, and we've significantly reduced mosquito related deaths in the last century. Over the last 250,000 years even cars don't come close yet.
I don't know, I have this theory where when the smaller container leaders to an increases in anger at a greater rate then the decrease in size. The angry bounces around more because of the smaller volume. This leads for the angry to increase because of the increased pressure in the container. I think this is part of Robert Boyle's foundational work.
