California Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed a bill to ban school boards from rejecting textbooks based on their teachings about the contributions of people from different racial backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities.

GOP'ers in denial don't want others to be able to freely express themselves. If they have to stay in the closet (and they do if they want to be Republicans) then everyone has to too.
