ACT welcomes first Aussie-built electric buses | Riotact
The first of four Australian-made electric buses ordered for the Transport Canberra fleet has arrived in the ACT and is about to hit the road.
The new Custom Denning ‘Element’ low-floor battery electric bus (BEB) was on show today at the Belconnen Depot where the four will be based and two chargers have been installed.

These are actually pretty nice - I've been lucky enough to catch them a couple of times in the last few weeks.
They even have USB charging ports, if you need to recharge your phone on short notice, which is a nice little feature (though I've yet to see anyone take advantage so far).
