I was watching the DS9 finale and I just realized Nog, who went to the academy halfway through the series, got promoted to lieutenant before Harry did.
I guess it makes sense, in the Alpha quadrant Starfleet has unlimited new ensigns. But voyager way out in the middle of nowhere only had Harry, if he got promoted there would be nobody to clean the holodeck filters
Yeah it is completely unbelievable that the holodecks wouldn’t be primarily used to fuck virtual people.
Yes you can play Sherlock or play some ball in there but especially on a starship, between shore leaves, people would relieve themselves in there all the time, assuming the ship doesn’t have a perfect 100% ratio of sexually compatible personnel so everyone can get some.
Tenfold this for the voyager crew who are cooped up in a fixed and quite limited constellation of potential partners for years.
Oh, Deadlock, so going to argue that it wasn't alternate universe Harry, just original Harry (and entire Voyager/crew) being duplicated by the rift, then one set of dupes becoming slightly less alive.
So they all got Lieutenant Rikered, both being the original, just one didn't lose his mind imagining Talking to Troi for years... well, maybe Harry does have a thing for Troi too, dunno.
