Wilgrove Air Park - Charlotte's lost second airport
Anyone else know that up until 2021 Charlotte had a second airport within city limits? Recently demolished to make way for 400 cookie cutter houses by LGI homes.

Dang, I lived over that way as a kid and didn't realize there was an airport over there. The first I heard about it was when they were shutting down to sell the land.
Bought a house over here in 2015 and my favorite part was sitting on the back deck watching the planes take off and land. Change is the only constant.
