I really hope the neighbors stick around. I think we had 3 Ruth episodes, the move in with Bart's Girlfriend, Thelma & Louise, and then the woman's weightlifting years later.
They don't need to do a lot, just some characters to add a little background and pop in from time to time for a joke.
