Stör is German for sturgeon. And it happens to sound like a lot of other words. Stör Wars, stört your engines, etc. The admins let it run for a while and then put a ban on Stör memes, so everything quieted down. Until this week, when c/risa got the Morn/Gorn/Rom bug.
See, there was the shitstorm with reddit and everyone worth a dam moved to Lemmy, and then there was the no shit (not the slang meaning) for 3 days challenge, and then there was the beans escapades.
And then then the dinousaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died, and then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes.
The 3 day challenge came from an asklemmy post where someone was asking for advice on going three days without a bowel movement. We never found out why.
